We are delighted to be working with Walsall College to recruit a Deputy Principal - Curriculum and Student Success. Boasting a turnover of £55m and serving over 13,000 students, the College works closely with local employers and partners to respond to their ever-changing skills needs across the region. The College is committed to driving economic prosperity, making it well-placed to shape and inform the delivery of education across the West Midlands.
Reporting to the Chief Executive & Principal, you will provide inspiring leadership, development and direction across the College. You will take responsibility and accountability for delivering the strategic objectives of the Governing Board, with a primary focus on developing a responsive, adaptable and dynamic curriculum offer that delivers income growth and aligns to student and employer demand. As a Senior Post Holder and the College nominee, you will drive forward the quality of education, providing the highest possible outcome-focused student experience, whilst leading and influencing external relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable evidence of leadership and management in a curriculum and quality-based role within a student-centric further education-based organisation. The Deputy Principal must be bold, build relationships with consummate ease and have the strategic planning and leadership skills to succeed in a constantly evolving and progressive college. In addition, you must be able to drive a student-led agenda, be purposeful in your approach and be an integral part of the leadership team that will shape the long-term careers of its learners.
