South Hampshire College Group (SHCG) was formed through the merger of City College Southampton, Eastleigh College and Fareham College on 1st August 2023. Reporting to the Chief Executive and being part of the executive leadership team, you will spearhead a modern and ambitious people strategy that encompasses key areas such as flexible working, talent development, standardisation of working practices, and fostering a progressive culture of accountability and excellence across the Group.
In addition to your strategic responsibilities, you will provide policy and strategic counsel to the Board, oversee talent acquisition efforts, and enhance employee engagement and welfare initiatives. This multifaceted role requires a skilled people leader who can seamlessly navigate between operational and strategic needs while maintaining a clear direction.
To excel in this position, you should bring substantial experience in organisational design, retention, and performance management. Your track record should demonstrate a proven ability to drive change and integration, placing people at the forefront of the agenda.
