To help facilitate this agenda, Oaklands College is seeking to appoint a commercially orientated Chief Finance Officer to support the ongoing development of the college to meet the needs of students, employers, and the communities it serves.
Reporting to the Principal and Chief Executive, you will lead the financial strategy across the organisation, ensuring the financial integrity of the college through enhanced business planning, financial control, and reporting to maximise efficiencies and opportunities for growth. You will provide the day-to-day line management for the finance function, focusing on capital expenditure, risk management and compliance, by analysing key management information to maintain its strong financial and regulatory position.
You will be a qualified, commercially orientated finance leader with a wealth of strategic experience, ideally gained within a highly complex, customer-centric environment. With strong technical expertise, you will have excellent analytical and planning skills and be fully conversant with complex revenue streams and capital investment initiatives. You will possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the capacity to engage at all levels across and beyond the organisation, to shape the strategic challenges through deliverable and workable business solutions.
