Vacancy Description

We are delighted to be working with East Lancashire Learning Group (Formerly Nelson & Colne College Group), one of the highest performing Further Education college groups in the UK, delivering the highest quality of education and positive outcomes for its learners, employers and the wider communities it serves. To support the ongoing successes and development across the group, we are seeking to appoint a finance professional to join their Corporation Board.

As a member of the Board you will set the strategic tone and direction to ensure the highest levels of governance and probity are in place to innovate, support growth and enhance the quality of provision across the group. As an inspirational, innovative and strategic leader, you will ideally have a working knowledge of the region and be sympathetic to the values of the organisation, with the commitment to ensure the group achieves its ambitious agenda in today’s challenging and ever-changing education landscape. With a commitment of around one day per month, this will provide a clear opportunity to play a vital role at a key time within a progressive, forward-thinking organisation that makes a real difference to people’s lives across Lancashire and beyond.
