This exciting opportunity entails close collaboration with the Corporation Board and management of the Senior Leadership Team to develop and execute strategic and innovative plans that cater to the evolving needs of the diverse community the college serves. Key responsibilities will include delivering the highest standards in learning, teaching and assessment, spearheading commercial strategies to ensure revenue generation, fulfilling statutory and regulatory obligations and leading the college’s growth strategy. To succeed you must be enthusiastic about the college’s mission, values and aspirations, with the ability to inspire a dedicated team to promote a culture of continuous quality and performance improvement.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished leader with a track record of operational and strategic excellence, ideally drawn from across the education sector. They must demonstrate commercial acuity, strategic vision and a deep commitment to promoting quality and fiscal management that are aligned to exceptional student outcomes. The Principal Chief Executive must command respect through effective communication, inspirational leadership (internally and externally) and by placing learners at the heart of all endeavours to ensure Burnley College continues to thrive in today’s challenging economic landscape.
