Walsall College is seeking an inspirational Deputy Principal – Finance and Resources to lead its financial, operational and resource management functions. You will provide strategic leadership and accountability across the College's finances and operational activities, working closely with the ELT and Board, monitoring and maintaining the College's resilience and driving growth. Your focus will be delivering corporate services (Finance, HR, MIS, Estates, IT and Risk Management) to an exceptional standard whilst overseeing systems and processes to drive efficiencies and operational excellence.
You will be a qualified, commercially orientated accountant with a wealth of strategic finance leadership experience, ideally gained within a highly complex, customer centric, multi-stakeholder environment. You must possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the capacity to engage at all levels across and beyond the organisation, and be able to solve complex strategic challenges through deliverable and workable business solutions at this important time of change.
