To help facilitate this agenda, Walsall College is seeking an inspirational Deputy Principal to lead the Curriculum, Quality and Student agenda as the college continues to invest and expand to widen participation in a sustainable way.
Reporting to the Principal & Chief Executive, you will provide inspiring leadership, development and direction across the College. You will take responsibility and accountability for delivering the strategic targets set by the Corporation, with a primary focus on developing an outstanding, responsive, adaptable and dynamic curriculum offer that delivers income growth in response to student and employer demand. As College Nominee, you will drive forward the quality of education, providing the highest possible outcome focused student experience, whilst leading external relationships with key stakeholders and partners and deputising for the Principal & Chief Executive as needed.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable evidence of leadership and management in a curriculum and quality-based role within a complex and service-led further education-based organisation. Importantly, the Deputy Principal – Curriculum, Innovation & Student Success must be bold, build relationships with consummate ease and have the strategic planning and leadership skills to succeed in a constantly evolving and progressive college. Adding to this, you must have the ability to drive a student led agenda, be purposeful in approach and be an integral part of the leadership team that will shape the long-term careers of its learners.
