Our Client is a leading social enterprise providing health and social care services for people with wide-ranging and complex needs in over 300 locations across England. For nearly 60 years they have worked with those affected by drug and alcohol misuse, mental health conditions, offending behavior, unemployment, and people with learning disabilities. We are looking to recruit a non-executive director to a small Board, ideally with experience of financial management and / or risk management at Board level. The role requires you to attend six Board meetings per annum plus committees as required. In addition, it is expected that you will undertake two or more location visits per year and undertake any necessary professional development. The total anticipated time commitment is around 8 hours per month.
You will be an experienced non-executive director committed to delivering health and social care services to the community. You will have an in-depth understanding of the governance and management structure of a national organisation and the functioning of a unitary board. You will have a broad network of contacts and strategic experience to further the business aims of the organisation.
